"Women Photographers"

I'm inviting you into the world of women photographers. Together we will discover those who have a meaning in the history of photography, but also talented contemporary photographers with great portfolios and evolutions in the field of photography. We will find out what makes these women good photographers by trying to explain why their photos became so well known. Is it their geometry? Juxtaposition? Encryption? Chromatic choice? Their flair for choosing interesting models? Frame composition? Is it any logical reason at all?

We will go through strong images, capable to excite and stay alive over time. We will discuss about photographers who have felt the photography in an unique and sensible way, being united by the same strength and love, by the same exterior and interior searches, discovering and rediscovering through each frame, themselves and their surroundings.

Presentation Iris Maria Tuşa

"My name is Iris, I live in Bucharest, Romania and although I have a PhD in Biology I feel that photography is my great love. I fell in love with photography in 2013 and graduated from “Francisc Mraz" Photography School in 2014. I participated in various national and international photography exhibitions and photography workshops. In 2017, I published my first photo book called "Antarctica. A place beyond time".

I consider photography a joy of knowledge and self-knowledge that speaks more about the inside world of a photographer than of that from the outside, unveiling one’s deepest beliefs. A photograph should have the power to surprise and touch our hearts."
